Mailchimp is a popular email marketing platform that also offers landing pages and websites. Here's how to add your Cloudpresser AI chatbot:
Method 1: Adding to Mailchimp Landing Pages
Follow these steps to add your chatbot to a Mailchimp landing page:
- Get your chatbot code:
- Go to your Cloudpresser AI Chat dashboard
- Select the chatbot you want to integrate
- Click on the "View Code" or "Integration" button
- Copy the provided code snippet
- Add the code to your Mailchimp landing page:
- Log in to your Mailchimp account
- Go to "Content" → "Landing Pages"
- Select an existing landing page or create a new one
- Click "Edit" to open the landing page editor
- Click on the "HTML" content block (or add one if it doesn't exist)
- Paste your chatbot code into the HTML editor
- Click "Save & Close"
- Publish or update your landing page
Method 2: Adding to Mailchimp Website Builder
If you're using Mailchimp's Website Builder:
- Access your website:
- Go to "Website" → "Website Builder"
- Select your website
- Click "Edit" to open the website editor
- Add a code block:
- Click the "+" button to add a new block
- Select "Code" from the block options
- Paste your chatbot code into the code editor
- Click "Save" and then "Publish" your website
Note: Mailchimp may have limitations on custom code execution. If the chatbot doesn't appear, you might need to use an iframe or contact Mailchimp support for assistance.
Method 3: Adding to Email Campaigns (Limited Functionality)
Note that adding chatbots directly to emails has limitations due to email client restrictions:
- For email campaigns:
- Instead of embedding the chatbot directly, add a button or link to your website where the chatbot is available
- In your email campaign, create a call-to-action like "Chat with our AI Assistant" that links to your website
Tip: Most email clients block JavaScript for security reasons, so embedding a live chatbot directly in emails is not possible. Always direct users to your website for the full chatbot experience.

Landing Pages
Mailchimp landing pages support HTML content blocks, which can be used to add your chatbot code.
Website Builder
Mailchimp's Website Builder supports code blocks, but there might be limitations on JavaScript execution.
Email Campaigns
Email clients block JavaScript, so direct chatbot integration in emails is not possible. Use links to your website instead.
Troubleshooting
Chatbot not appearing on landing pages
Ensure the HTML content block is properly saved and published. Try viewing the page in an incognito window to rule out cache issues.
